Subject: US Aeroteam Visit
I visited US Aeroteam yesterday to review the Quality Awareness Presentation with the US Aeroteam Leadership. Subsequent to the presentation I toured the shop and was quite impressed with USAeroteam applications and results of Toyota lean practices. The results presented were actually stunning. Huge improvements in quality and productivity in relatively short order. I also saw some great examples of error proofing. USAeroteam does a great deal of work in automotive and are leveraging the same principles to our industry. This supplier may provide some great opportunities for us with regards to product and learning.
